Free Street parking is available directly across the street from the property on Parker Street, as well as on Welsford Street from 6pm until 8am, Monday to Friday. Parking on Welsford Street between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday requires you to purchase a permit, or risk getting a ticket.

Permit Parking

There is free on-street parking during the following times:

Monday to Friday 6pm until 8am. All day Saturday and Sunday.

If you require parking between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, you will have to purchase a parking permit from the city so you do not get a ticket.

You can apply for a permit by:

1) Visiting https://hrm.aimsparking .com/

2) Clicking on apply/manage parking permits on the upper left hand corner

3) Register for a free account and use the following address when registering for ZONE 10 parking in Halifax

"6043 Welsford street, Halifax, NS, B3K1G3"

4) Clicking "apply for permits"

5) Clicking "visitor parking permits"

6) Choose 1 day ($15), 2 ($25) or 7 day ($35)option (whichever works best for you)

7) Choose the date you would like your parking permit to start

8) Click "add vehicle" button on lower left hand side of the screen

9) Fill out the details of the car you will be driving while visiting The Welsford and click "add"

10) Click on the check box at the bottom of the screen that reads "I have read and agree to the terms of service above"

11) Click "add permit to car"

12) Complete billing address and credit card details

13) Click "checkout"
